Smoking Lips

The Smoking Lips are our iconic incense holders and definitely one of our signature pieces here in the Molekūl studio. We make them in all colours that we mix up in our studio, because we love them so much. 

Our Smoking Lips are poured with pigmented French Limoges porcelain. The outside is glazed with a high gloss glaze and the inside has a natural matte porcelain texture. 

All our porcelain products are fired at 1250C in our workshop in Berlin. The intense heat of the firing process creates a strong, durable and non-porous material, making the cup water tight, heat and stain resistant.

We use locally sourced pigments to stain the porcelain to give our pieces bold and vibrant colors and hues. Some of our vivid porcelain colours, like Midnight Moss and Hot Red, are highly pigmented to achieve an extra intense colour depth.

Each of our products are handmade and unique. We embrace the subtle differences and variations of each item as a special characteristic and uniqueness!

Our Smoking Lips here in the Showroom are smoking Lemongrass Incense most of the time - or a classic Nag Champa of course.
